Recycled Clothespin Starburst

A great way to add to your living space is by including items with special colors and textures, but this can often come at a price. These mini starbursts were made from recycled clothespins, but you can always use other materials to create your own decorative pieces. 

Materials

• Clothespins (8-9 for one) or you can use your own variation

• Glue gun (or you preferred type)

• Paint (optional)

Prep

Break apart your pins by twisting off the spring coil.

Build

Begin by using a small dab of glue to make a cross. Then add a piece vertically to one side and then the same with the other. As you go on, continue adding more and pieces as shown in the image.

Extra

I went a step ahead and decided to spray paint some of my stars. But you can try and find other ways to enhance your creation.
